This cinnamon honey butter is one of those things I almost didn’t share. Not because it’s complicated (it’s literally so easy), but because it feels like one of my little cottage bakery secrets.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! It’s sweet, a little spiced, and completely magical on warm sourdough. I’ve made it for neighbors, friends, porch pickups… and every single time someone says, “Wait… what is THIS?”
One friend told me it tastes just like the cinnamon butter from Texas Roadhouse. And honestly, she’s not wrong 🥳 It’s a very good Texas Roadhouse copycat – just maybe even better 🤯.
So if you’ve ever wondered how to make Texas Roadhouse cinnamon butter at home, this is it. With simple ingredients and a hand mixer (or just a few minutes of hand whisking), you’ll have a dreamy whipped butter ready in five minutes.
It’s easy to make in bulk with a hand mixer! I use this one.

What You’ll Need
- ½ cup salted butter, softened (I use Kerry Gold Grass-Fed butter)
- ¼ cup honey
- ¼ cup powdered sugar, sifted
- 3 tsp cinnamon (or more to taste, if you’re like me)
- a pinch of salt (to taste)
Mix it all together until whipped and fluffy. That’s it.
Spread it on warm sourdough (or honestly anything). My girls love it on toast in the morning. I’ve also served it on cornbread, pancakes, biscuits… it’s one of those things that makes breakfast feel a little ✨enchanted✨ without trying too hard.
A few little tips:
- Store it in the fridge for up to 2 weeks
- You can also freeze it for up to 3 months! Just scoop it into a jar or roll it into a log with parchment, wrap it up tight, and pop it in a freezer-safe bag (make sure label it with the date). Thaw in the fridge overnight or on the counter for a bit before using, and you can re-whip it if you want that fluffy texture back.
- Let it soften before spreading
- You can swap in maple syrup, add a splash of vanilla, or sprinkle in a pinch of nutmeg or cardamom if you’re feeling fancy
Whether you’re making this for a bake sale, brunch table, or just to feel a little extra on a weekday morning, I hope you love it as much as we do.
And hey… if you’ve got bread, you need good butter. That’s just the rule!
Happy Baking!
